Not a lot of water was flowing over Sgwd Yr Eira on this particular morning. I started walking at 5:40am from Cwm Porth in Ystradfellte. I got to the waterfall before before sunrise. I walked most of the way down the river bank just using a head torch until I reached the steps down to Sgwd Yr Eira.
