Off to the lakes today...watch this space...

The day started like a typical British summer...crap, lashing it down and 15.5c.

I decided there may be a chance the weather could break, so we waited for over an hour and we were rewarded with these shots :-)

We decided we were going to walk the whole crater even though we had lost an hour and a half waiting for a break to get the photos I wanted...13.6 miles was now on the cards...we finished just 15 minutes before sunset...perfect... :-)

Yes as far as you can see, and more to the left and right, we walked the whole of the crater in 4.5 hours!
